TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. THESE TERMS
1.1 These are the terms and conditions by which I supply products to you through this website.
1.2 These terms tell you who I am, how I provide products to you, what to do if there is a problem and other important information.

2. Who I am and how to contact me
2.1 I am Rebecca Haskoll, a sole trader established in England.
2.2 You can contact me via email at beachsidekiln@gmail.com or via the Contact Me form on this website. I aim to reply to all messages within two working days.

3. Enquiring about a piece of work you have seen on this website
3.1 If a piece you are interested in is available from a physical Gallery shop, I will direct you to that business in the first instance
3.2 If a piece you are interested in is in my stock, I will confirm details of the piece and any additional shipping costs with you before issuing you with an invoice for payment in full. You order is not accepted until payment has been received.
3.3 If a piece you are interested in is out of stock, I will provide you with a 'remake' quote to make a similar unique piece (see Section 4 below). If you accept the quote, which will include any additional shipping costs, I will issue you with an invoice for payment in full. Your order is not accepted and I will not begin working on the piece until payment has been received.
3.4 If for any reason I cannot accept your order I will let you know via email.
4. My Products
4.1 My products are unique. This means that each piece is a one-off, even if it is part of a series. The nature of handmade glass means that no two pieces will ever be identical. I will ask you to confirm that you accept this before placing any order for an out of stock or commission piece.
4.2 Pieces displayed on my website may marked 'out of stock'. If this is the case, your piece will be 'remade' from scratch. This means that the piece you receive will not be identical to the one you have seen on my website. I will ask you to confirm that you accept this before placing your order.
4.3 I always do my best to display products and colours accurately but cannot guarantee your device’s display accurately reflects the real life colour of the products.
4.4 I do my best with a tape measure but please note all sizes, weights and dimensions listed on products are approximate.
4.5 Product packaging may vary from any shown on my website. I use recycled or recyclable product packaging as much as possible.

5. To commission a bespoke piece of glass
If you are interested in discussing a bespoke commission (ie a unique piece made to your design requirements and specification), please contact me using the form on this website or the email address above.

6. Intellectual property rights
All intellectual property rights, including without limitation the copyright in the artwork are owned by Rebecca Haskoll. Under no circumstances does the ownership of any such rights transfer to you. You agree that no licence in the works is granted to you. You agree not to reproduce the work in any manner.

7.0 Delivery costs, times and undelivered items
7.1 Delivery costs are in addition to the price shown against each piece. I will contact you to discuss delivery costs and to agree a preferred carrier with you. This information will be shown on your invoice.
7.2 Items will not be shipped until all costs are paid in full.
7.3 You are responsible for any duties, taxes or charges incurred outside of the UK.
7.4 Delivery times will vary by carrier and destination. Once a package enters the delivery network, I am unable to influence its journey but will inform you by email if I become aware of any delay.
7.5 Undelivered items are returned to me. If you do not accept or are unable to accept a delivery, you will receive a refund on the following basis:

Order for pieces in my stock (section 3.2): Full refund of cost of piece (shipping costs not refunded)

Order for pieces seen on the website but out of stock ('remake pieces' section 3.3): 50% refund of cost of piece (shipping costs not refunded)

Order for bespoke commission (section 5.0): 20% refund of cost of piece (shipping costs not refunded)

8. Responsibility for the goods
Once delivered to the address provided by you, or collected by you or your carrier, all products and responsibility for products become yours.

9. If your parcel arrives damaged
9.1 I endeavour to package my glasswork securely and in a way that minimises risk of damage in transit. If your parcel arrives with damaged packaging (such as a hole or large dent in the box) please take a photograph before opening. This will be needed by me and the carrier in the event of a dispute with the carrier.
9.2 If you find your goods are damaged on arrival, please take photographs immediately and contact me as soon as possible. Photographs will be required by me and the carrier in the event of a dispute with the carrier.
9.3 Broken glass is extremely sharp. If it appears that there is any likelihood of risk of injury, please either wear suitable sharps-protection gloves, or do not remove your goods from their packaging. I will not be held liable for injuries caused by inappropriate handling of broken glass.
9.4 I will let you know how to return an item that was broken on arrival to me if we agree that is practical to do so.

10. How to tell me about problems
If you are unhappy with your product for any reason, please let me know as soon as possible via email at beachsidekiln@gmail.com

11. Where to find the prices of pieces
11.1 The price of a product that is available from a physical Gallery (section 3.1) or in my stock (section 3.2) will be the price shown against its picture on this website.
11.2 The price of a 'remake piece' (section 3.3) will be quoted to you on enquiry and an invoice issued if you agree
11.3 The price of a bespoke commission will be based on a variety of factors, which will be discussed with you in full before we make an agreement to proceed

12. How to pay
I accept payment via PayPal or Bank Transfer only. Details will be laid out on your invoice.

13. How I may use your personal information
I will only use your personal information as set out in my Privacy Policy.
